今日稍早日本版 Apex Legends Mobile 官方透過 Twitter 宣布遊戲即將於 5 月 2 日結束營運；而據 IGN 報導指出，遊戲公司 Electronic Arts 在財報電話會議上宣佈，將終止 Apex Legends Mobile 和 Battlefield Mobile 的開發，同時 Battlefield Mobile 的開發工作室 Industrial Toys 也將被關閉。

Apex Legends Mobile 於 2022 年 5 月推出，將在屆滿一年時關閉服務，而從美國時間 1 月 31 日下午 1 點開始就會將遊戲從 Appstore 中下架，並停止內購；EA 在電話會議中解釋：「僅管 Apex Legends Mobile 有不錯的開局發展，但持續性的體驗並沒有達到用戶的期望，因此在與開發夥伴合作數月後，我們共同決定停止這款行動遊戲。」
而 CEO Andrew Wilson 表示：「我們從 Apex Legends Mobile 上學習到許多，並計劃在未來重新構想 Apex Mobile 的連線體驗。」
IGN 推估，未來 EA 有可能在沒有 Lightspeed Studios 的支援下以其他形式重新在行動裝置上推出 Apex Legends。
